-
The Bible is the
inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of
God.
-
There is one God,
eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, Son and
Holy Spirit, distinguishable but indivisible.
-
God created the
universe and all that is in it including humankind.
-
Humankind fell in
sin and is unable to rescue itself and obtain righteousness
acceptable to God.
-
Jesus Christ was
born of a virgin and was sinless.
-
Jesus Christ died
on the cross of Calvary taking the sin of the world upon
Himself. He was buried and rose again on the third day. He alone
can redeem us from our sinful state and make us acceptable to
God.
-
Jesus bodily
ascended into heaven to the right hand of the Father and will
come again to this earth with power and glory to rule.
-
Salvation is
gained by faith through grace alone and not by human works.
-
The only means of
being cleansed from sin is through turning from sin and putting
faith in the precious blood of Christ.
-
Regeneration by
the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
-
A believer can be
baptized in the Holy Spirit who was poured out at Pentecost. The
Holy Spirit empowers believers with spiritual gifts and to live
a holy life.
-
A believer is to
be baptized in water by total immersion and this is done unto
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
-
People can be
healed physically and psychologically by the power of God.
-
There exists a
real Satan with a host of fallen angels or demons, but he is
already defeated and will be finally confined under God's judgment
forever.
-
There is a
resurrection of both the saved and the lost with eternal life
for believers and eternal judgment for unbelievers.
-
There is one true
universal Church made up of genuine born again believers in
Christ. This church is composed of many local churches that are
to express His will on the earth.
-
The church
functions under the leadership of apostles, prophets,
evangelists, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons.
-
Sharing in the
Lord's Supper is an important community time for remembering the
death, burial and resurrection of Jesus until His return.
-
The believer
belongs to Christ and is a responsible steward. Giving regular
tithes and offerings is a part of our worship to God.
